Potomac School students lined up and ready on the morning of the annual Bike-a-thon Oct. 12. This is a fundraiser to raise money for educational activities. Although the ground was snowy and the air was brisk, the students were undeterred, bundled up and rode their bikes, walked and ran. The number of miles ridden and amount raised was unavailable at press time.

Sasquatch (aka Potomac School eighth-grader Lou Cheff) was spotted making several laps around the school during the annual Bike-a-thon.

Teachers, parents and grandparents helped students and punched their cards each time they came around the school during the all-day event. Three laps equals one mile.
