Swan Song
SEELEY LAKE - Linda Leigh Brown, 74, of Seeley Lake, passed away peacefully Oct. 8 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula Montana.
She was born Nov. 14, 1942 in The Dalles, Ore. to Andrew Jackson Edmiston and Inez Helen Leigh.
She married Mathew H. Brown Jr. in 1963. They lived in Missoula, then to Helena and back to Missoula finally landing in Seeley Lake at their cabin.
Linda loved her time and had great memories with family and friends over many years up at Seeley Lake. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a fabulous cook which was enjoyed by many of her friends and family.
She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter-in-law and friend to all that crossed her path.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws and her grandson Andrew.
She is survived by her husband Mathew of Seeley Lake; five children Randy and wife Sherrie of Delavan, Wisc., Mathew of Seeley Lake and Daughter in Law Beth Conley of Missoula, Jack and wife Janet of Lolo, Heath of Helena and Sheila of Missoula; sisters Jacquita Edmiston, Sherma Winter and Beverly Newcomb all of Oregon; grandchildren Christopher, Shanna, John, Jake, Mike, Greg, Henry, Parker, Remy, Connor, Jodie, Tina and KariJo; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A small service was held at the Seeley Lake Cemetery Saturday, Oct. 14 followed by a celebration of life at the cabin at 260 Timberlane, Seeley Lake following the service.
Garden City Funeral Home assisted the family.
