SEELEY LAKE - Clearwater Montana Properties announced that it has been named one of America's Best Brokerages in the Summer 2017 issue of "The Land Report." The Land Report's exclusive America's Best Brokerages award recognizes a select group of best-in-class brokerages that specialize in land, recreational, farm, ranch and investment properties. Clearwater Montana Properties is an exclusive partner to Sports Afield Trophy Properties, a network of top recreational property brokerages.
With more than $200 million in sales volume in 2016, Clearwater was one of only a small number of brokerages throughout the nation that achieved $100-250M in sales and was specifically recognized by The Land Report for its high number of completed transactions above $750,000. The 2017 America's Best Brokerages award was the first for Clearwater Montana Properties, a firm founded in Seeley Lake in 1994.
"Clearwater was founded 23 years ago on a dream and some cash advances from a credit card," said Kevin Wetherell, CEO of Clearwater Properties. "To be recognized as one of America's Best Brokerages is both an honor and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our brokers, agents and support staff."
Wetherell remains optimistic regarding market conditions for recreational properties. "The 2016 market experienced a decreasing inventory of quality farms, ranches and recreational properties with a correlated high demand," said Wetherell. "As 2018 approaches, we expect increased inventories of property within these categories."
According to Shaun Lewis, Chief Operating Officer of Clearwater Properties, the company now has more than 30 office locations across Montana, Idaho, Washington and Wyoming and is poised for continued robust growth.
"Clearwater opened three new office locations during the first half of 2017 and we anticipate significant growth during the next 12 months," said Lewis. "Our unique points of difference, global marketing reach, and commitment to continued innovation have enabled us to thrive in an otherwise highly competitive market."
