Condon Parade Grand Marshal Alan "Pete" Taylor rides in a jeep owned and driven by Neil Meyer. Taylor was recognized for his service in the U.S. Air Force and for all the volunteer work he has done in the Swan Valley since the 1980s. "Alan has always been willing to take the menial jobs," said Rick Ferguson, American Legion Post 63 Commander.
CONDON - Following a pancake breakfast hosted by Swan Valley Emergency Services, the Fourth of July festivities in Condon kicked off with the parade down Highway 83. Following the parade, everyone converged at the Swan Valley Community Hall for huckleberry ice cream, the used book sale and other fun activities. The Omoksee finished out the afternoon.
