The wreath made of red, white and blue petunias was made by Swan Valley resident Grace Siloti was released into the Swan River by veteran Dave Stenhouse at the Cold Creek Bridge in honor of deceased veterans.
People gathered at Cold Creek Bridge over the Swan River. It was the site of the annual memorial ceremony for veterans led by the American Legion Post 63 of Condon. It was held May 30, the original date of Memorial Day before Congress changed it to the last Monday in May.
