With the snow nearly gone, the Erythronium grandiflorum will soon make its appearance. Commonly known as a yellow fawn-lily or glacier lily, this hardy perennial starts blooming as soon as the snow recedes and continues through August. Swan Valley residents also call this flower a yellow dogtooth violet.
