Swan Song
SWAN VALLEY - Larry Christiansen, resident of Swan Valley, Mont. and Burien, Wash. went home to be with the Lord Feb. 18.
He grew up in Montana at the State Orphans Home in Twin Bridges, Mont. He joined the US Air Force in 1955 and was trained as an air traffic controller. He was assigned to Larson Air Force Base in Moses Lake, Wash. where he met his wife LaRuth. They have been married 60 years.
After his first tour of duty he was hired by the Federal Aviation Agency and worked at Van Nuys, Burbank, Denver and Sea-Tac airports.
After his retirement he spent most of his time at his Holland Lake home in his native state of Montana.
He is survived by his wife LaRuth; son Jeff (Mary); grandchildren Matthew, Kathleen, Patrick and Tawney and his brother John who lives in Belgrade, Mont.
