SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks finished out their regular season with a pair of district victories. They defeated Victor and Darby pushing their conference record to 10-0 and overall record to 17-1.
The Lady Blackhawks head to the District 13-C Tournament Feb. 16-18 seeded number one and get a bye in the first round.
Versus Victor
The Lady Blackhawks headed to Victor Feb. 10 to take on the Pirates.
After a slow first quarter, the Lady Blackhawks started to pull ahead of the Pirates. The Ladies picked up the pace in the second quarter and headed into the second half with a 9-point lead.
The Lady Blackhawks kept the momentum going in the second half and finished off the Pirates 51-27.
The Strumpfer sisters, Mary and Cera, each had 10 points to lead the Lady Blackhawks. Autumn Morse was close behind with 9 points after hitting 3 of the team's 5 three-pointers.
The Lady Blackhawks hit 8 of 14 from the free throw line.
Also scoring: Stevi Meade 6; Tessa Grimes 5; Andi Bohlman 4; Ashley Miller 4 and Alex Bohlman 3.
Versus Darby
The Lady Blackhawks hosted the Darby Tigers for their final game of the regular season Feb. 11.
The Tigers proved to be no match for the Lady Blackhawks.
The Ladies dominated the game from the beginning, putting the Tigers down 25-3 in the first quarter. They finished them off 62-12.
Alex Bohlman led the Ladies with 17 points followed by Tessa Grimes with 15.
The Tigers played a clean game, only being called for 3 fouls and gave the Lady Blackhawks only a single chance from the free throw line. Grimes nailed it.
Also scoring: Terra Bertsch 8; Andi Bohlman 8; Mary Strumpfer 6; Chloe Robbins 4 Ashley Miller 2 and Stevi Meade 2.
