SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks racked up a pair of wins the Western C Tip-off last week. The Ladies defeated Granite and St. Regis to extend their overall record to 3-0.
Versus Granite
The Lady Blackhawks played the Granite Prospectors at the Salish Kootenai College in Pablo on Dec. 9.
The Lady Blackhawks steadily pulled out of reach of the Prospectors. They scored into the double digits while holding the Prospectors under ten each quarter.
The Lady Blackhawks won with a final score of 60-32.
The Bohlman sisters led the Lady Blackhawks with Alex scoring 15 and Andi scoring 12. Autumn Morse also broke into the double digits with 10 points. Morse and Alex each hit 2, 3-point shots.
The Lady Blackhawks shot 60 percent from the free throw line.
Also scoring: Chloe Robbins 6; Mary Strumpfer 6; Cera Strumpfer 4; Stevi Meade 4; Lauryn Barnes 2 and Ashley Miller 1.
Versus St. Regis
The Lady Blackhawks took on the St. Regis Tigers in Ronan Dec. 10.
Getting got off to a great start, the Lady Blackhawks put the Tigers down 14-7 in the first quarter. The Ladies lost a little ground in the second quarter but still held a 3-point lead.
The Lady Blackhawks had a big third quarter and headed into the final quarter with a 14-point lead.
The Tigers weren't ready to give up and took a run at the Lady Blackhawks in the final quarter. The Ladies held them off to a 40-33 victory.
Andi Bohlman led the Lady Blackhawks with 12 points. Autumn Morse and Cera Strumpfer followed her closely with 10 points each. All three ladies sank 2, 3-pointers each.
The Lady Blackhawks hit 4 of 7 from the free throw line.
Also scoring: Mary Strumpfer 4 and Chloe Robbins 4.
