Everyone Invited to the Rich Ranch Community Appreciation Day, Dec. 18
SEELEY LAKE – Seeley-Swan and Ovando area residents are invited to the Rich Ranch in Woodworth Meadows Sunday, Dec. 18 from 1-4 p.m. for a community family fun day. Gather with friends and neighbors to share in the holiday spirit.
Complimentary activities include: Horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowmobile rides, outdoor chili feed & campfire. There’s also room for sledding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Santa will be at the Rich Ranch at 3 p.m. to deliver his annual community treats to the children.
The Rich Ranch is located on Cottonwood Lakes Road. Turn east at Highway 83 mile marker seven onto Woodworth Road. Follow Woodworth Road five miles to the intersection of Woodworth and Cottonwood Lakes Road (watch for sign). Continue straight (north) onto Cottonwood Lakes Road. It is less than a mile to the Rich Ranch.

Seeley Lake Snowmobile Trail Closed for Log Haul Traffic
SEELEY LAKE – For public safety while heavy truck traffic is ongoing for a Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) timber sale, the Seeley Lake Ranger District has closed snowmobile Trail Number SNO-63.31 to snowmobile use. This trail is also known as the Spring Creek Road (#46942). The heavy truck traffic is associated with the DNRC Clear East Timber Sale in the Horseshoe West area.
The closure is in place from Mile Post 0 (junction with Highway 83) to Mile Post 3.1 from the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. The snowmobile trail is open and available for use outside of the hours listed above, on the weekends and holidays (Dec. 25 and Jan. 1).
