Seeley Lake 13-year-old Stephan Jorgensen shot this 5X5 bull elk at 200 yards with a .270 Winchester. According to his father Tom, he killed it with "one well placed shot." This is Jorgensen's first bull. He shot a cow elk last year.

Seeley Lake eighth-grader Lexi Sunderland shot her second cow elk. She shot this at 130 yards with a .243 on the Portman Ranch off of Woodworth Road, south of Seeley Lake. This was her second year hunting.

Seeley Lake sophomore Chance Johnson and his cow elk taken Nov. 4 on the 2 Creek Ranch in Ovando. He shot it at 200 yards with a 300 Winchester. Chance Johnson with his second antelope shot in the Dillon, Mont. area with a .257 Weatherby at 300 yards. It measured 14 inches.
