Swan Song
SWAN VALLEY - On Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 our beloved father, Papa, brother and friend to many, peacefully passed away to join his wife surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Reading, Pa. to Joyce and Arthur Auchenbach Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, one cherished brother and two granddaughters. He is survived by one brother and sister of Reading, Pa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and best friends that were like brothers to him.
Brian was well known for being a jack-of-all-trades, master of none. His hobbies were cutting firewood, picking huckleberries, dumpster diving at the Co-op. His saying, "It's free, it's for me!" He loved to recycle; from cans, to cardboard, to copper or anything else he could.
He loved cooking chili, homemade mac & cheese and huckleberry pancakes for the grandkids. If you were to see him, you'd know him by his truck up and down Highway 83 or at the sign shop. If you ever had a problem with your vehicle, "pull it into the shop, I got a lift." Brian had a heart of gold. Always willing to lend a hand to everyone.
Brian is survived by: his three children, his daughter April (Sam), his son Brian, Jr., and his son Chris (Kellie); 11 living grandchildren; and one great grandson on the way. Also, survived by his significant other, Treicia Pace. He was the love of Treicia's life and will be missed beyond measure.
Dad, we want to thank you for everything you've given us, your laughter, your sense of humor and always being there. You were supportive and a great mentor. We would like to thank the community for all the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. No service is planned at this time, but a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. A memorial fund for Brian Auchenbach will be set up at Citizens Alliance Bank in Seeley Lake.
Brian would want to remind all of you silver is going to skyrocket.
