SLE Student Government 

SEELEY LAKE - Students of Seeley Lake Elementary (SLE) run for Student Government each year, and this year may be the best yet. Twelve students ran, and it was astonishing to see how prepared and enthusiastic they were in their speeches and campaigns. I've never seen such outgoing candidates as they sat waiting their turn.

Students talked about how they wanted to finish the rock wall, repair the playground, provide more reading time to students and give Junior High back their recess.  SLE students sat patiently after every performance. It was amazing to see how encouraging the candidates were to their fellow students and I am sure we are all proud of our candidates and students. Come voting day, SLE students had a very hard time choosing.

Our new Student Government members are Klaire Kovatch as President, Hannah Ayers as Vice President, Tru Good as Secretary, Danielle Sexton as Treasurer, Wesley Stevenson as fourth grade Rep, Aydin Bayford as fifth grade Rep, Maddux Burwick as sixth Grade Rep, Sawyer Shelmerdine as seventh Grade Rep and Bethany Hoag as eighth Grade Rep.
