The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks faced three opponents last week. They started on the road against the Lincoln Lynx before hosting the Victor Pirates and the Drummond Trojans. The Lady Blackhawks won the first two matches before falling to Drummond giving them a 3-1 in conference and 3-3 overall record.
Versus Lincoln
The Lady Blackhawks headed to Lincoln Sept. 15 for a quick three game victory over the Lynx. The Ladies won each of the three games with good margin, 25-18, 25-14 and 25-13.
Andi Bohlman led the Lady Blackhawks with 7 kills while Mary Strumpfer pounded in 3 aces. Alex Bohlman had 7 assists and 2 stuff blocks. Tessa Grimes and Stevi Meade led in digs with 7 each.
Versus Victor
The Lady Blackhawks hosted the Pirates Sept. 16. The Ladies put Victor down fast in the first game 25-8 but couldn't hold back the Pirates in game two, 23-25.
The next two games and the match went to the Lady Blackhawks 25-14 and 25-17.
Alex Bohlman dominated the stats leading the Ladies with 5 aces, 16 digs, 16 assists, 10 kills and 1 stuff block. Ashley Miller added 16 digs of her own. Tessa Grimes and Mary Strumpfer each added 1 stuff block.
Versus Drummond
The Lady Blackhawks took on Drummond Sept. 17 at home. After dropping game one, 20-25 the Lady Blackhawks rebounded with a tight 25-23 victory in game two.
The Ladies were unable to repeat game two's win and fell in game three and four, 19-25 and 17-25.
Alex Bohlman led the Ladies with 7 assists, 6 kills and 1 stuff block. Ashley Miller had 16 digs. Miller, Stevi Meade and Mary Strumpfer each had 2 aces.
This Week
The Lady Blackhawks head to Philipsburg Sept. 23 to take on Granite at 5:30 p.m. The Ladies then compete in the Clark Fork Tournament Sept. 24 at Superior.
