Code Red Kick Starts Fourth of July Weekend

SEELEY LAKE - Seeley Lake native Breana (Johnson) Cahoon returned for the Fourth of July weekend with her band Code Red.

Code Red performed impromptu for a street dance in the parking lot of D&B Auto/Parts Plus Saturday night to kick off the weekend. Monday night they entertained on the lawn of Lindey's Prime Steak House starting their performance a couple hours before the fireworks.

Code Red is a four-piece, family friendly rock/country cover band from Eugene, Ore. Cahoon is their lead singer backed by a guitar, bass and drums. They encourage dancing and offer percussion instruments for anyone to play while they perform.

The surprise street dance drew people from all age groups, from four months on up. While the majority of the dancers were under the age of five, when they played just the right song a few other locals busted out the moves.
