Swan Valley AARP Meeting, June 6

SWAN VALLEY – Who, what, where are the animals in the Swan? That will be the program Monday, June 6 for the Swan Valley AARP at the Swan Valley Community Hall in Condon.

Adam Lieberg of Swan Valley Connections will give a presentation of the Swan Valley carnivores. The group is to meet at noon for a potluck at 12:30 p.m. The program will start at 1:45 p.m. to which the public is invited. Hosts are Nina and Dennis Monson.

International Fair June 7

SWAN VALLEY - Swan Valley School will host its International Fair June 7 from 6 - 7 p.m. The public is invited to come learn more about the four countries the students have been studying: Jordan, Cuba, Japan and Ireland. 

This is part of the 21st Century Grant Afterschool Enrichment activities. Six students met International students at the University of Montana as a part of their research. They will present what they have learned and make food from the four different countries for people to try.  They are expecting at least the gentleman from Jordan to attend and help with the Fair.
