May 3 Elections
Jenny Lindemer - Incumbent SLE Board
Biography: I was born and raised in Missoula. I spent my summers in Seeley Lake. My family and I have lived here for 21years!
Qualifying experience or skills/strengths for the school board position: My husband and I own and operate Lindey's Prime Steakhouse. I have been on SLE School Board and volunteered in various positions at Seeley Lake Elementary (SLE) for 12 years.
Why do you want to be on the school board? I would love to continue being involved with SLE. Our children are very important. The staff at SLE - from the para-educators, counselors, office staff, teachers, specialists to Mr. Stout - are an amazing group of people! So much energy, knowledge and love! There are some programs that are just in the beginning stages that I'd like to see continue and grow.
What would you like to see changed or what issues would you address if elected? Off the top of my head, there isn't anything that I'd change. Mr. Stout has done a great job of hiring and retaining wonderful staff members!
What challenges to you see facing the board and the school in the near future? I think our biggest challenge is declining enrollment, which is why we have to run a levy this year.
