Match Safety at SLE

Members of the Missoula County Fire Protection Association (MCFPA) and Seeley Lake Fire Chief Bob Vanden Heuvel gave a presentation on Match Safety to Seeley Lake Elementary first graders April 12. Students learned the difference between tools (matches and lighters) and toys, got to meet Smokey Bear and were encouraged to have an evacuation plan at home in case of a fire. They each received a bag with fire prevention goodies. "The kids love it," said Vanden Heuvel.
