Shoulder Season Visitation Boosts Montana State Parks to Record Breaking 2015

HELENA – Montana State Parks announced that 2015 annual visitation was more than 2.48 million visits, setting a record for the third straight year.

According to the 2015 Annual Visitation Report, statewide visitation for Montana State Parks was up 11 percent from 2014 and up 34 percent over the last 10 years. A new trend in 2015 was increased visitation during the spring and fall shoulder seasons (February – April, October – November).
