The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks got back to doing what they do best, winning games against Clark Fork Co-op and Two Eagle River. The victories improve their overall season record to 13-1.
Versus Clark Fork Co-op
The Lady Blackhawks hosted the Mountain Cats from the Clark Fork Co-op Jan. 28. The Ladies took an early lead dominating the first quarter, allowing the Mountain Cats only two points.
The Cats found limited success in the second quarter while applying a full court press but the Lady Blackhawks continued their dominance in the third quarter. The Ladies finished off the Mountain Cats with a final score of 65-42.
Paige Holmes had 18 points to lead the Lady Blackhawks. Delaney Holzworth added 10 while Stephanie Robbins and Marisol Caro each had 8.
Also scoring: Ashley Miller 7; Tessa Grimes 6; Cera Strumpfer 4; Alex Bohlman 2; Elizabeth Done 1 and Stevi Meade 1.
Versus Two Eagle River
The Lady Blackhawks traveled to Pablo to take on Two Eagle River Eagles Jan. 30.
The Lady Blackhawks made quick work of the Eagles, blowing out the game in the first quarter and taking a 25-point advantage. The Lady Blackhawks continued to outplay the Eagles to a 64-22 victory.
Delaney Holzworth led the Lady Blackhawks, scoring 17 points. Paige Holmes was close behind with 15. Both Holzworth and Holmes had one, three-pointer each in the game. Cera Strumpfer hit five of six attempted free throws.

This Week at SSHS
The Blackhawks and Lady Blackhawks start the week on the road Feb. 5 against Granite in Philipsburg with games starting at 2:30 p.m. The Junior Varsity will then host Hellgate while the Varsity hosts Lincoln Feb. 6 with games starting at 1 p.m.
