Cell Tower, Law Enforcement at Next Council Meeting

SEELEY LAKE - At the Seeley Lake Community Council meeting this Monday, Nov. 9 the council will hear from J.R. Reger about a cell tower planned at Highway 83 near Redwood Lane.

Next on the agenda, Sgt. Bob Parcell will talk about law enforcement in Seeley Lake.

Following that, Anne Beach of the Seeley Lake Community Foundation will discuss the Foundation’s recent activities and upcoming projects.

An update on the status of the council’s Traffic Project is also expected. Three weeks ago the council delivered its Speed Limit and Pedestrian Crossings Study results to the Missoula County Commissioners. The 119-page document describes the traffic changes that the council is asking, including slower speed limits in Seeley Lake and more and better-marked pedestrian crossings.

Like always, there will be an opportunity for public comments on non-agenda items.

The informal part of the meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Seeley Lake Historical Museum and Visitors Center with pizza and sodas.
