    SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Nordic Ski Team started their race season in Whitefish, Mont. Jan. 10 at the 2016 Glacier Glide. Six members of the team competed in the 15 kilometer (K) and 3.5K races with many finishing in the top five for their division. Senior Angus Batchelder and eighth-grader Dakota Wood participated in the 15K Skate race. They were the youngest racers by more than 20 years. Batchelder finished in 11th place with a time of 46.45.     SEELEY LAKE - Approximately three miles of the Cottonwood Lakes Road (#477) on the Seeley Lake Ranger District will be closed beginning Dec. 1 for public safety while log truck traffic associated with the Mountain Creek Stewardship project is occurring on the road.
