    Effective March 28, all Lolo National Forest campgrounds, rental cabins and lookouts will be temporarily closed through April 30 or until the order is rescinded. The health and safety of visitors, as well as Forest Service employees and volunteers, is paramount during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Forest is working to meet the social distancing guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to help reduce the spread of the virus.     KALISPELL – Fifteen rental cabins in Flathead National Forest have been closed indefinitely for the health and safety of visitors and staff. Developed campgrounds and most restroom facilities are also closed. Even though campgrounds are closed, boat launches associated with campgrounds remain open.
