    SWAN VALLEY - Young adults of the Salish, Kootenai and Blackfeet Tribes have been helping with forest restoration efforts in the Swan Valley since mid-June through the Mission Mountains Youth Program. Their service will conclude at the end of July. This is the program's first year of existence.     New fires in the Jocko and north of Condon There are two large fires in the area as of this week. The Crooks fire was discovered July 23 and is approximately six miles west of the DNRC border, south of the Jocko Road, and eight miles southeast of Arlee, Montana. As of press time it was 705 acres. The Jocko Road is closed at the CSKT Reservation divide/ Montana DNRC border (adjacent to Seeley Lake Ranger District lands) due to increased fire activity from the Crooks fire.     SEELEY LAKE – Into its sixth year of the Change Your Pace Challenge, the Seeley Lake Community Foundation raised over $80,800 for 14 local organizations, including over $23,000 for the CYP Match Fund. The match fund was up $9,000 up from last year and had the highest number of individual donors that the program has seen since it started in 2016 with 192 families giving.     SEELEY LAKE - At approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 22 firefighters were called to a structure fire on Juniper Drive in Seeley Lake. When they arrived multiple structures were involved and neighbors and community members were working to keep the flames from spreading using garden hoses.
