Local Ice Rinks are open for skating SEELEY LAKE - Thanks to some amazing volunteers from Seeley Lake Regional Outdoor Center for Kinetic Sports (ROCKS) and the Seeley Lake Lions Club, the two ice skating rinks in town are now open for use. Art Supplies Giving Tree available through the weekend The Art Supplies Giving Tree will be available at the Grizzly Claw Trading Company in Seeley Lake and the Swan Valley Community Library until just after New Years. SEELEY LAKE – Seeley-Swan High School and Seeley Lake Elementary junior high musicians took the stage together at their combined concert Dec. 16. SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Elementary Eagles boys basketball team took third place in the Copper League Tournament last week to end their season with a record of 10 wins and four losses. SEELEY LAKE – Tuesday, Dec. 7 the activity room at Mission Bible Fellowship was packed with toys as the line grew out the front of the church before the annual Loving Hearts Toy Sale. One volunteer said this year's sale offered "more toys than Walmart." Donations sought for Seeley Lake Elementary Christmas Store SEELEY LAKE - Seeley Lake Elementary is seeking donations for their annual Christmas Store. They accept new and gently used items (no clothing) for all ages and also monetary donations to purchase gifts for the store. Every year there is a shortage of gifts for dads and boys. SEELEY LAKE - Chazzy, Seeley Lake's Therapy Assist Service Dog, died after five years of service to our community. We thank you Chazzy. Chazzy was rescued from Life Saving Animal Rescues in Polson, Montana in 2016 . He was adopted as a mere puppy by Kim Heninger. Chazzy was her fifth Service Therapy Assist Dog for her behavioral health therapy practice. Heninger trained him and he was broken in as an Alta Care Therapy Assist puppy.
