    MISSOULA - The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks headed to the Missoula County Public Schools Invitational April 16. The meet drew teams from C, B, A and AA schools making for stiff competition. Alex Bohlman was the only Seeley-Swan athlete to break into the top six. Bohlman won the javelin by more than 10 feet with a throw of 139 feet 9 inches.     The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks had a pair of track meets last week. The team headed to Corvallis April 7 for the Florence/Darby Invitational and then was off to the Bigfork Invitational April 9 in Bigfork. Both events attracted class A, B and C schools. The Lady Blackhawks pulled off a third place victory in Corvallis and tied for second in Bigfork despite having some of their top athletes out for spring break.     MISSOULA - The Missoula County Public Schools (MCPS) Board of Trustees authorized the sale of bonds to fund school improvements under the Smart Schools 2020 plan Dec. 8, 2015. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, the District executed the first sale of $51.6 million in bonds for the elementary district and $22.7 million for the high school district.     SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Elementary (SLE) School Board unanimously approved a general fund levy to be voted on in the May 3 Special Election. The exact amount will be decided at the board’s March 22 meeting. District Clerk Sally Johnson presented to the board that the state funds allotted to SLE for the 2016-2017 school year would be approximately $21,300 less than this year’s budget due to declining enrollment.
