    SEELEY LAKE - Old-time Christmas carols and favorite holiday music filled the Seeley-Swan High School auditorium Tuesday night, Dec. 13 as students from Seeley Lake Elementary and SSHS musicians performed to a packed house.     KALISPELL - The Flathead National Forest has announced the selection of Tami MacKenzie as Deputy Forest Supervisor. MacKenzie started her career on the Flathead National Forest as a wildland firefighter in 1998 while attending the University of Montana. She worked in wildland fire until 2006 when she accepted a position in environmental planning where she held various positions between the Flathead National Forest and the Regional Office for the next 14 years.     SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Swan Blackhawks and Lady Blackhawks defeated the Lincoln Lynx with ease in front of the home crowd Dec. 16. The Boys dominated the first half scoring 17 points in each quarter while only allowing the Lynx 13 points total. The Blackhawks breezed through the second half to a 54-38 victory.     KANSAS - Steve and Cynthia Haynes sold Nor'West Publishing/Haynes Newspapers on Dec. 1, 2022, 42 years to the day after they purchased their first newspaper. Brothers Jesse and Lloyd Mullen, owners of Mullen Newspaper Company, and the new owners of the Seeley Swan Pathfinder newspaper, worked with Haynes to acquire one daily newspaper, one twice weekly, four weekly newspapers, and a market shopper product.
