Joshua Alexander Heggen, 26, died Sunday, Dec. 3 in a single vehicle accident in Fort Benton, Mont. Josh was born Aug. 23, 1991 in Lancaster, Calif. He graduated Havre High School in 2010. POTOMAC - Potomac School boys basketball team made it to the championship game against St. Joes Dec. 15. Head Coach Brad Hall said the Pioneers came away with a great year taking second in the league. A total of 20 Pioneers played this year and were divvied up between the A and B teams. SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Elementary Eagles finished fifth in the Copper League this past week. While they had hoped to finish higher up in the tournament, Head Coach Brett Haines said the players played with a lot of heart, worked hard and improved a lot throughout the season. Paws Up Safe Home Animal Shelter Remains Open POTOMAC – There has been confusion about the status of the Paws Up Safe Home Animal Shelter located near Potomac. While the shelter is not currently taking in animals, it is still caring for and housing 25 dogs and several cats and horses.
