MISSOULA - Montana, did you read yesterday’s news that Hellgate High School in Missoula released confidential student information? It was received by e-mail by about 30 parents and included a 19-page attachment with p...
Hopefully everyone had a good Thanksgiving. My family did not come due to bad weather. However, I was glad as my two dogs and cat tangled with a skunk that was trying to get on my deck through a small hole under the fence. I let the two little dogs out with the cat. Minnie, the poodle, spotted the skunks head and dashed to grab it, which she did and then Mollie, my terrier, jumped in and grabbed the skunk by the neck and was pulling it in. About half way in, the cat jumped on the skunk and started pulling hair. By that time the dogs had the sku...

I have fond memories of singing in a choir during a Christmas program when I was in the fourth grade in a small east Texas town. In order to be in the choir, you had to learn all the words to most Christmas carols. No one complained that we sang about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ nor were there complaints that a large Christian cross was hung on the auditorium stage. Things were different then and even though WW II was in progress we were looking forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior. I believe we knew what Christmas was all...
