SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Ranger District will host a free half-day (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) National Public Lands Day event Saturday, Sept. 24 at Monture Guard Station. The event will include a tour of the historic Guard Station, demonstrations on the use of primitive tools, packing stock, identifying noxious weeds, analyzing soils, practicing leave no trace principles, operating a district fire engine and more!
