    SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Sewer Board (SLSB) was presented with a proposal to reduce projected costs for Phase I residential lots from $165 to $50 per month and commercial lots to $75 per month. With the new proposal, there may not be a vote on the proposed treatment plant and collection system but landowners would have a protest provision.     SEELEY LAKE - A major concern expressed from community members about the Bob Marshall Music Festival was serving alcohol near Seeley Lake Elementary (SLE) school and its property. The area where the alcohol was served is legally owned by SLE but is designated as a Missoula County Park. SLE administers the park and can approve or disapprove activities without the Missoula County Parks and Recreation Department input.     SEELEY LAKE - For the fourth year running, the Seeley Swan Pathfinder counted the Seeley Lake parade attendance by placing a camera on top of a Seeley Lake Rural Fire District truck in the parade. We counted 4,118 people lining the streets from the Filling Station parking lot on B Street to the end of the parade on Redwood Lane.     SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Sewer District (SLSD) board passed a resolution clarifying the responsibilities of the district and landowners if the proposed system is built. The board also discussed the funding package and next fiscal year’s budget at its June 16 meeting. The resolution states that the district will continue to include the cost of hooking up customers who connect as the collection system is initially constructed.     SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Community Council (SLCC) hosted discussion on U.S. Forest Service (USFS) trails maintenance and provided an update on its traffic study at its June 13 meeting. The council also endorsed the Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Project (BCSP). Seeley Lake District Ranger Rachel Feigley gave an overview of the trails on the district.     MISSOULA - The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks finished out their season earning second place at the State Class C Meet May 28. The team finished with 62 points, four short of first place Plains with 66. All six of the Lady Blackhawks who went to state came home with at least one medal.     MISSOULA - The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks triumphed over the competition for first place at the Western C Divisional Track Meet May 21.     SWAN VALLEY - The Mission Mountains Mercantile was destroyed by fire in the early morning hours of May 18. At approximately 12:22 a.m. a fire was reported at the Mission Mountains Mercantile on Highway 83. The Swan Valley Fire Department was dispatched to the scene.
