    MISSOULA - The Girls of Seeley-Swan took first place at the Kim L. Haines Memorial Track Meet May 4 with 92 team points ahead of Charlo with 84. The Boys took second place with 58 points behind Frenchtown's 132. Both the Girls 4x100 and 4x400-meter relay teams edged out the competition for first place.     SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Sewer District Board learned at their April 24 meeting that Missoula County’s inability to perform the construction engineering for the collection system is adding $759,400 to the project’s estimated cost. The board also discussed agency review of the collection system design, User Agreements, water test results and other business.     The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks participated in the Top 10 meet in Missoula April 23 before heading to Great Falls April 27. Ten Blackhawks earned invites to the prestigious Russ Pilcher Top 10 meet and they represented Seeley-Swan well, placing in six individual events and sweeping both the Boys and Girls 4x400 relays.     MISSOULA - Nearly 20 teams from A, B and C Class schools sent athletes to the Seeley-Swan High School Invitational track meet April 20. Despite the rain, the Girls and Boys of Seeley-Swan shined.     POLSON - The Boys and Girls of Seeley-Swan took second place at the Dave Tripp Memorial track meet April 12. The meet attracted three Class B schools and 12 Class C schools. The Boys were just 3.5 points short of Powell County's 105 points while the Girls were 12.5 points behind Charlo's 105.5 points.     MISSOULA - Three Seeley-Swan school records fell April 6 at the opening track meet. The records include the Girls pole vault, Boys 200-meter and the Boys 4x400 relay. Terra Bertsch cleared 10 feet to break a 2017 school record of 9 foot, 10 inches held by Cera Strumpfer. Bertsch was a freshman on the track team in 2017 when Strumpfer set her record.     SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Elementary School (SLE) board approved permissive levies for the tuition fund and for the building reserve at their March 19 meeting. The tuition fund is used to offset the cost to educate students if they require one-on-one instruction.     MISSOULA – County commissioners voted to not extend the interlocal agreement between Missoula County and the Seeley Lake Sewer District at their Jan. 17 administrative meeting. The agreement expired last November and the District had requested an extension in December.
