    SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks and Lady Blackhawks' first home game of the season was against Valley Christian Eagles Dec. 19. Friday they headed to Hot Springs to face the Savage Heat. The Boys came out strong against the Eagles but couldn't get much more than a couple basket lead until the third quarter.     PLAINS – The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks and Lady Blackhawks took on the Horsemen and Trotters Dec. 14. The Boys got off on the wrong foot falling behind the Horsemen 12 points in the first quarter with half those points coming from Horsemen free throws. Undeterred, the Blackhawks cleaned up their game and fought their way back to within four points by half time propelled off three pointers from Owen Mercado, Dakota Wood and Quinlan Ream.     RONAN – The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks Boys took on Arlee and Frenchtown’s JV at last week’s Western Tip-Off Tournament. The Boys came out strong against Arlee in the opening quarter leading by 3 points but the Warriors slipped by in the second quarter outscoring the Blackhawks 13 to 6.     SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Elementary School board plans to undertake the creation of a strategic plan for the school in the coming months. They voted at their Nov. 19 meeting to hire Dr. Daniel Farr to help with the process.     MISSOULA – District Court Judge Leslie Halligan ruled on a pair of motions from Missoula County and the Seeley Lake Sewer District seeking to dismiss the lawsuit originally filed by Don Larson. The Court Orders granted the County’s request to be dismissed and granted parts of the District’s motion but denied dismissing the entire case against the District.
