    Hello SSHS families, We are rapidly approaching the start to the year! A couple notes to remember. If you have an incoming ninth grader or a new student to town that will be in the high school please get your registration paperwork in ASAP.     In our current situation it is more evident than ever the variety of roles teachers take on during the course of the school year. They provide guidance, support, a friendly ear and an education. We took some time last week to praise the great work students are doing at the school during our second quarter assembly. We were able to recognize students for their hard work, attendance, behavior and kindness with the Principal's Award.     Hello from Seeley-Swan High School. We just finished up our first Quarter of the school year. We held a community assembly in which we were able to recognize students and staff for their accomplishments. With the Quarter ending that means Parent Teacher Conferences are here.     Hello from Seeley-Swan High School. We have had an exciting first month of school. Students, staff and myself are settling in to the new year. Students were able to have a great service learning day outside the classroom when we had our annual Discovery Day. We had groups taking art walks in Missoula, visiting the smokejumper center, learning survival skills at Rainy Lake, and hiking and cleaning the campgrounds at Holland Lake.
