    MISSOULA – At public hearing Sept. 5, the Missoula County Commissioners unanimously approved Resolution 2019-106 due to insufficient protest. The resolution changed the boundaries of the Rural Special Improvement District 282 around Lindbergh Lake and levied the RSID 282 property owners $73,176.29 to maintain the Lindbergh Lake bridge. The RSID 282 was created Jan. 12, 1978 for the purpose of constructing a bridge across the Swan River at the outlet of Lindbergh Lake.     The Bureau of Land Management Missoula Field Office completed a 660 acre prescribed burn near Chamberlain Mountain in the Wales Creek Wilderness Study Area, nine miles southeast of Clearwater Junction Thursday, Sept. 5. This project has been planned since 2016. BLM Fire Management Specialist Steve Hancock said everything lined up perfectly to complete the stand-replacing burn.     SEELEY LAKE – Just before 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 there was a call that there was a boating accident at Lake Alva. Screams for help alerted those on the shore and someone camping at the Lakeside Campground came with a pontoon. A 70-year-old Eureka man received CPR but upon the arrival of Life Flight was confirmed dead.     POTOMAC – Greenough-Potomac Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire just before 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31. The house on Coloma Way was fully involved. While firefighters were not able to save the structure, they kept it from spreading to nearby outbuildings and wildlands. The homeowner was taken to Missoula via ambulance for burns.     SEELEY LAKE - The North Fork Cabin bridge replacement project is complete. The trail closure has been lifted ahead of hunting season. The bridge reconstruction began July 22. The bridge provides access over the North Fork of the Blackfoot River near the North Fork Cabin on Trail 32.     DEER LODGE – The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks were one of four teams that participated in the inaugural 5K race at the Grant-Kohrs Ranch in Deer Lodge Aug. 30.
